Steve is regularly interviewed by Wall Street Analysts, offering his insight into major market moves in the Contact Center Cloud and M&A world. Most notably, he is a highly sought-after international speaker in the Contact Center arena addressing operational effectiveness, multi-level omni channel effectiveness, cloud technology, and outsourcing strategies.
Steve provides expertise to nations, captives & BPOs in the developing stages of providing global contact center and outsourcing strategies. He has also been a healthcare vertical strategic advisor to the Republic of Georgia, Singapore, and the UK. SKWeston & Company has developed a broad spectrum of international partnerships that combine efforts to allow clients to reach their operational goals. Previously, Steve has held executive positions at Convergys, SITEL, and United Health Group.
Steve has been a member of Whittier College Board of Trustees for 20+ years. In 2012 he was asked to head the Whittier College Alumni Association Board and over the course of 5 years the Board has been revitalized and now works to engage alumni all over the globe. Steve is a graduate of Whittier College with a BA in Political Science.
Tom DeGemmis CPA is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, financial services, and technology services. Tom brings a wealth of expertise in areas such as strategy development and implementation planning, business process outsourcing and operational process improvement, financial strategy and business case development, and transformation program delivery to SKWeston & Company as a Strategic Advisor.
During his career, Tom has held CFO positions at CIGNA and State Street Corporation, was General Manager of Cardinal Health’s Independent Pharmacy Segment, and was a Strategy Lead for Individual and Small Group segments at AETNA and led those segments' implementation of the Affordable Care Act. In addition to his role of Strategic Advisor at SKWeston & Company, Tom is also Managing Partner of DeGemmis Consulting.
Tom is a Certified Public Accountant and obtained the certificate when working at Coopers & Lybrand. Tom is a graduate of University of Hartford with a BS degree in Economics and Finance. Tom completed post graduate Accounting and Law Studies at The University of Connecticut.
As the newest member of the SKWeston & Company Leadership Team, Kevin brings 7+ years of experience managing large complex projects in the Retail and Telecommunications industries ranging from IT systems implementations, mergers & acquisitions, product development and process improvements. Kevin is a Senior Director and leads the technology implementation teams and the managed services offerings at SKWeston & Company. Kevin brings a unique perspective to our technology and consulting offerings due to his past experience working for Google, Arch Telecom and Miraloma Advisors.
Kevin is one of SKWeston & Company's certified Panviva content developers and is a certified nVoq Agent Assist shortcut developer. Kevin is a graduate of Lake Forest College with a BA in Political Science and minors in Business Administration and Legal Studies.
Gary is a 25 year veteran of operations, business process outsourcing, process improvement and building project management offices. Throughout his career he has driven continuous improvement at the global enterprise level by formulating business strategy, re-engineering business processes, and managing technological and operational change. Gary has developed, built, implemented, and run BPO and Shared Services Operations across multiple organizations and industries and is a recognized expert at instilling discipline, accountability, and governance into business cultures.
Gary has held leadership roles in Financial Services at Capital One and HSBC where he led operations, F&A, and outsourcing functions. As a Consultant at Genpact he led shared services engagements in Healthcare, Consumer Packed Goods and Manufacturing. In Healthcare, Gary has spent time at Cigna, Change Healthcare and Embold Health. At Cigna and Change Healthcare he built and ran large outsourcing implementation and process improvement groups and at Embold Health, a start-up, he was a member of the Sr. Leadership Team in charge of building and operating the product implementation and customer service functions.
Gary received an MS in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida, an MBA from the University of South Florida specializing in Information Technology and a BS in Marketing from Rochester Institute of Technology. Additionally, Gary is a PMI Certified Project Manager (PMP), IAOP Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) and Six Sigma Green Belt.
